Night of Strange Dreams

Image
There was a night at a beginning of December that resulted in several strange dreams. Honestly, I'm not quite sure about the exact date, but let's say it was between the 4th and 7th of December. One of these three nights, three different people reported unusual dreams. We are not talking about nothing spectacular here, just some strange coincidences. If you are interested, keep reading! THE TRIP A friend of mine, let's call her Emma, dreamed that she was supposed to travel to England. However, in a dream, she had lost her plane ticket which resulted in her not being able to travel to England. The next day, when Emma woke up, she received peculiar message from one of her friends, let's call her Anna. Interestingly, her friend Anna messaged her about her own dream which was strangely related to Emma's dream. Anna dreamed that she went to visit Emma in, no other country but England and that Emma was not there.   INTERNATIONAL PHONE CALL Source: pixabay...

Old Hag Phenomenon: An Apparition Seen by Other Person While Awake?

Image
A few weeks back, I was on a YouTube spree and I ended up watching a tone of paranormal storytimes. One, in particular, captured my attention. In a video, a girl by the YouTube name Leah Gordone talks about already terrifying enough experience; an old hag syndrome. However, there in a twist in Leah's story which captured my attention. OLD HAG EXPERIENCE Source: pixabay.com To start with, an old hag (also known as night hag) is a phenomenon which is usually experienced while an individual is either falling asleep or waking up. During the experience, an individual will hallucinate an apparition standing near their bed or sitting on top of them. An apparition will mostly look like a shadowy figure of a person, sometimes wearing cloak or a hat (usually a fedora, a witch hat or a hoodie). People report being unable to breathe properly during these experiences; especially if an apparition is sitting on top of their chest. Old had syndrome is usually accompanied with sleep pa...

Lucid Dreaming Induction

Image
Dreams in general are pretty fascinating topic but the magic of lucid dreaming might be one of the most awesome things our brain is capable of doing that we know of.  To start with, lucid dreaming is defined as a dream during which a dreamer is aware of the fact that they are dreaming. Besides the awareness, the dreamer might be capable of taking control of the dream. Simply put, while lucid dreaming, people are able to affect and change the environment of the dream, choose people that they wish to dream as well as interactions with people, put themselves in different situations and, basically, do anything with only limit being their own imagination.  Source: pixabay.com While majority of lucid dreamers do not really choose in which dream they will be aware of, lucid dreaming seems like such an amazing experience that many people try to achieve such state at will. There are so many techniques known today to help induce lucid dreaming. From personal experience, I ha...

Recurring Strangers in Dreams

Image
Have you ever heard the allegedly scientific fact that we can only dream faces we have seen before? At first glance this seems hard to argue with since we encounter so many different faces on daily basis weather on the streets or maybe on the TV. However, I believe this research might not be as correct or as scientific as it may seem. Firstly, the brain is probably one of the least understood parts of the body and especially dreams which seem to be incredibly hard to study. Also, doesn't it seem a bit strange that a human mind wouldn't have the capacity to invent faces? Can we imagine different faces while awake? Yes, we can. So, why wouldn't we be able to do the same while unconscious. Source: pixabay.com We encounter unfamiliar faces quite a lot in our dreams. According to  psychologytoday.com , about 50% of characters we encounter in dreams are not familiar to us. In some dreams up to 80% of characters could be strangers. However, we might recognize them o...

Spirits Visiting in Dreams

Image
Source: pixabay.com Many people encounter their loved ones who have passed on in their dreams. Majority claim these experiences feel a bit different than your everyday dream. They seem to be a lot more calming and peaceful. The reason why our loved ones usually visit us is to simply let us know that they are fine and happy at the other side. Today I would like to share with you two stories about my experiences with spirits visits in dreams. GRAND GRANDMOTHER The first dream is quite strange for me. When I was around 22, I was at my grandmother's place for few weeks in the summer. One night, I went to bed and dreamed one of the most confusing dreams I have ever dreamed. The dream was very vivid and realistic. I dreamed that I'm sleeping when I heard someone enter the door. I just knew it was my grand grandmother and I got the mental picture of her in my head. I was lying in bed facing away from the door; I didn't want to turn around because for some reason I ...

Prophetic Dreams

Image
When I was nineteen years old, I had a dream about looking for a place to stay. Some older lady walked me in to the cutest studio apartment. In a dream I thought:   "This would be perfect for me."  A month later, I was actually looking to rent a place. As I went to check one of the apartments, I was stunt to see that the inside of this apartment looked exactly like the one I dreamed. Might I mention that I never saw this apartment before.  Source: pixabay.com Prophetic dreams are simply precognitive dreams. In these dreams a person receives information about the future. The tricky part is that we usually don't know which dreams are prophetic until the moment when they come true. However, sometimes we might feel like a certain dream was prophetic and it comes true but it's quite rare. While we are sleeping, we are a lot more open to paranormal phenomenon. That's why we might receive more vivid information in our dreams rather than in everyday life wh...

Turn False Awakenings Into Out of Body Experience (Astral Projection)

Image
If you've ever experienced a false awakening, you know how frustrating it can be. Some even say they experience an extreme sense of fear along with the frustration. Luckily, through my experience with false awakenings I somehow learned how to turn them into out of body experiences or astral projection. Today I would like to share with you how to turn false awakenings into out of body experience. WHAT IS A FALSE AWAKENING? Source: pixabay.com Firstly, false awakening is defined as a vivid and convincing dream about awakening from sleep when, in reality, you're still sleeping. These dreams look how your everyday ritual when you wake up would look. You might go to the bathroom, brush your teeth, get a glass of water or whatever is it that you do when you first wake up. Sometimes these are accompanied with the feeling of something not being quite right. The frustrating part is that sometimes you can have several false awakenings in one night creating a cycle that k...
